The South Carroll Business Association invites you to our February luncheon at Liberatore's. Our speaker will be Steve Blair, President, of Lyceum Insurance Services, LLC.  

Steve, a resident of Monrovia, MD, is the current President of Lyceum Insurance Services, LLC. He earned a BS in Finance and Marketing from the University of Maryland, College Park. Due to his 30 years of industry experience, Steve has extensive knowledge in the employee benefits space along with human resources support. He is active with the Frederick County Boys and Girls Club, the Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce Foundation, and the CareFirst BCBS Broker Advisory Council. Steve enjoys fly fishing, community service, and spending time with family. 

Join Ryan Cooley and Stephen Blair from Lyceum Insurance Services, LLC on Wednesday, February 19th for an informative session as they discuss Maryland’s upcoming Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) program, set to launch on July 1, 2026. This new initiative will provide workers with job protection and the ability to take paid time off for personal or family health needs, offering up to $1,000 a week for up to 12 weeks.

Whether you’re a business owner, HR professional, or organizational leader, this session will help you understand the program’s key features as well as the requirements for your organization.

The SCBA holds its monthly luncheon on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 12 noon at Liberatore's Ristorante 6300 Georgetown Blvd., Sykesville, MD. The luncheon is $20 for members and $25 for non-members.  Please register in advance or pay an additional $3 at the door.
